Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town with easy access to all the attractions. The rooms were modern and tidy, although I wish the bathroom light didn't go out. The service was a bit mixed with accommodating staff but some unfriendliness encountered. The dining experience was top-class, offering a variety of dishes to suit everyone's tastes. The communal spaces were beautiful and welcoming, making it a great place to relax.
The hotel has a really strange set-up on the top floor, but the rooms are meticulously clean, spacious, and warm, with comfortable beds and pillows to sink into after a long day. The service is friendly and helpful, and the location, right in the city center of Alesund, is excellent. Dining offers a wide selection of fresh foods, but the facilities were a bit disappointing.
The hotel has beautiful rooms well-appointed with necessary amenities but can be noisy due to morning footstep sounds from breakfast and noise from the restaurant at night. The room was very small, but the character created in the lounge areas and dining room was delightful.
The hotel was wonderfully located right on the waterfront, providing a cozy atmosphere with candles and a perpetual log fire. The service was top-notch, especially with the helpful staff providing great sightseeing advice. The dining experience was a pleasant surprise, although the choices were somewhat limited. However, the rooms, particularly those near the stairwell, were a bit noisy, and the adjacent building rooms were on the smaller side.
